![]() If they don't want to sell me tires that's just lost business for them, which they don't seem to mind. Anyone with any sense or experience with tires like he had should know I don't want my tires to scrub, I just want max size for looks and traction. Once I really jumped on the goofy salesman when I needed to replace some aftermarket tires on a setup that scrubbed a little and when he found out he asked me "why I wanted my tires to scrub". They have refused to sale me tires I'd guess 3 or 4 times over the years. They remind me of the military or some other goofy government organization sometimes, depending on management at the time. I had an optometry office in Costco and now am across the street so I've had and seen many similar encounters with Costco. But, Costco has great prices on Mich tires including mounting, balancing, road hazard, the works.Īnyone go to a Costco and get non RFT's on their car? I know the Tire Rack will put on the tires I want, and they are only 70 miles from me. I HAVE TO put the same type of tire that's on your car now." He says, "It doesn't matter because I can't put those tires on your car anyway. He says again, "But, you don't have a spare."Īgain, I tell him that's not important, I just need to get a price on a set of tires. I reminded him that runflat or no is simply a choice, and the only factor is whether or not the person cares about the spare. He says, "But, you can't put regular tires on the car. He then closes the book and says, "Well, you HAVE to have runflats because BMW didn't give you a spare." I told him that doesn't bother me, and that BMW has roadside assistance anyway, plus, AGAIN, I don't want runflat tires. I say I don't mind, and I don't want runflats anyway. So I went to Costco to get pricing on a new set of Mich PS2 all season tires in the 225/255 size. ![]()
